The numerology of your birth month
Your birth month is the first number in your Life Path calculation, and it carries a character of its own before it is ever added to anything. January is a 1 โ a beginning. September is a 9 โ an ending. The month you arrived in sets a quiet baseline under the rest of your chart.
Below is what each of the twelve months means, the number it carries, and the temperament it tends to lend the people born inside it.

How the month becomes a number
Months are numbered in order: January = 1 through December = 12, with the double digits reduced (October 10 โ 1, November 11 โ 2 or the master number 11, December 12 โ 3). That number is then added to your birth day and year to produce your Life Path.
Common questions
Does my birth month have a number?
Yes. Months are numbered in order, January to December, with double digits reduced: October (10) becomes 1, November (11) becomes 2 or the master number 11, and December (12) becomes 3.
How does my birth month affect my chart?
It is the first of the three components of your Life Path calculation, alongside your birth day and birth year, so it feeds directly into your most important number.
Is the birth month as important as the Life Path?
No. It sets a quiet baseline, but it is shared with everyone born that month. Your Life Path, which uses your full date, is far more specific to you.
