How to calculate your Personal Month: Add your Personal Year number to the current calendar month (Jan=1, Feb=2 ... Dec=12), then reduce to a single digit. Example: Personal Year 6, in August (8): 6+8=14→1+4=5. You are in Personal Month 5.
Personal Month 9 is the completion month — the natural end of a nine-month cycle. This is the time to finish what you started, release what is no longer serving you and prepare the way for the new beginning that is coming in Month 1. Anything that has run its course needs to be consciously brought to closure. What you release this month creates space for what is coming.
Best uses for this month
- Finishing projects and delivering what has been in progress
- Clearing out — physically, emotionally and professionally — what is done
- Completing unfinished conversations and bringing closure to unresolved situations
- Humanitarian or charitable work and any service that gives without expectation of return
- Reflecting on the entire nine-month cycle and extracting its lessons
Avoid this month
- Starting significant new initiatives — save those for Month 1
- Forcing things to continue past their natural completion point
- Holding on to situations, relationships or projects that are clearly complete
