The single-digit numerological value of your home address — calculated by reducing the street number to a single digit and believed to influence the energy of the dwelling.
In numerology, every home has an energetic frequency determined by its address. The house number is calculated by reducing the street number to a single digit (or master number). Apartment/flat numbers are often added to the street number.
The house number describes the dominant energy of the space: a House 1 supports independence and new beginnings; a House 2 supports partnership; a House 7 supports contemplation and study, and so on.
Numerologists suggest that the house number can be adjusted — by adding a small plaque with a letter (which has its own value) to the mailbox to shift the total to a more desirable number. This is one of the more pragmatic applications of numerology.
How to calculate
Take the street number (e.g., 347). Add digits: 3+4+7=14→1+4=5. House 5. For apartments, add the flat number to the building number first, then reduce.
